Peter has over 20 years experience in corporate legal work, commercial property, and general commercial work, as well as experience on a project basis with new business ventures.
Peter’s main expertise is advising on capital raising, including venture capital and company floats, resources law, buying and selling assets and businesses, sub divisional developments and joint ventures, I.T. and the Internet. In addition to legal qualifications, he has a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from the Melbourne Business School.
Peter has acted on:
- Merger & acquisition of assets businesses and companies, particularly in the areas of resources, telecommunications and I.T.
- Capital raising including Stock Market listings and due diligence
- Advice to capital markets participants, including managed investment advice and corporate governance
- Commercial property, including residential subdivision and industrial estate, from acquisition, through all development stages, to end-sale
- Commercial negotiations and agreements
- Establishment of internet and telecommunications companies
- Financing of assets, including major equipment, aircraft and ships
- Acquisition and management of major motor sports events
- Investment structuring and complex estate planning
- Environmental compliance, acting on environment law breaches
- Other telecommunications and media work.
